CASTLE POINT ANIME CONVENTION 2022 COVID-19 GUIDELINES & POLICIES
Policies are subject to change; please check our social media and this page for updates.
Hello CPあC attendees! We hope you are all doing well in the new year. As our event is only in a few months, it is important to us to notify you of any rule or guidelines changes, especially amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. While the state of New Jersey does not require proof of vaccination, as a convention, we believe that our implementation of our COVID-19 guidelines, such as vaccination proof and mask wearing, aim to promote the well-being of our staff, vendors, guests, and attendees. The convention is doing its best to return safely while maintaining fun activities and events for our attendees after two years of no in-person conventions.
Thank you for all of your patience and support - we hope to see you at CPあC this spring!
Castle Point Anime Convention will require full COVID-19 vaccinations and masks for all entering the convention. No exceptions will be made. Further rules and protocols are stated below:
Proof of full vaccination required - two doses of Pfizer/Moderna or one dose of J&J.
Only accepted methods of proof (only one is needed per person):
No other method of proof is accepted. We also do not allow other vaccines or negative test results.
For staff and guests, proof of vaccination will be checked in advance of the event.
Vendors such as artists, dealers, and food vendors will require proof of vaccination upon arrival when setting up their tables on Friday, April 29th, 2022.
Failure to present acceptable proof of vaccination will result in being unable to attend Castle Point Anime Convention.
Once vaccination status has been verified, a single-use wristband will be provided.
- Do not remove the wristband as it will be required to be visible throughout all convention areas. The wristbands are waterproof and should be worn overnight for those attending both days.
Masks are required and must be worn properly covering the mouth and nose at all times, the only exceptions being:
- When eating or drinking at designated food vendor areas.
- When outside of the venue.
We strongly recommend the use of high-quality masks (N95, KF94) over cloth masks.
As children under the age of 5 are not eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccination, they are unable to attend Castle Point Anime Convention this year.
Necessary sanitation supplies and items will be provided around the convention.
- Attendees are encouraged to continuously wash their hands and use hand sanitizer throughout the convention.
Some events will have limited space, seating, and strict room caps. Lines may need to be formed in order to enter certain parts of the convention. There may be situations in which unavoidable close contact may occur. Carefully consider your personal level of risk tolerance when choosing which activities to participate in.
Staff will ensure that these protocols are being followed during the event.
- If an individual or a group refuses to follow these rules and does not respect requests of the staff to follow them, they may be removed from the convention.
- Attendees who are made uncomfortable due to the breaking of CPあC rules or COVID-19 protocols are encouraged to notify staff as soon as possible.
